1Bro organized a fun run for its members and their friends. I was invited by my co-worker to join the fun run knowing that I love to run and that I'm an active person. I was pretty excited because I don't get to join fun runs that often, the last time i joined was in 2010's Run for Pasig. I ran 5 kilometers under an hour and although I wanted to join more fun runs the time and means just wouldn't do. Fun runs are usually held in BCG, MOA and at Roxas boulevard, commuting there at 2 in the morning just wouldn't be practical and safe and I thank the heavens because my co-worker provided a service for those who will be attending ^___^

     Although we got to run, we were disappointed. The event was disorganized, there were no indications where the 3k, 5k, 10k & 21k's route is. We ended up running for more than 10 kilometers and I was really aiming to get a medal. I finishe 1 hour and 38 mins. Pft! But we did get a good cardio if you think about it. After the event we ate at Max's, I was hungry that's why I ordered a Fiesta Plate Meal ^__^

     Last night I was wondering if could run 10k rather than my usual 5k run. I gave it a try this morning and it was pretty intense, half way through my 2nd run my ankles started to hurt a bit so I kept on resting. But alas, after almost an hour I was able to run 10k ^___^ I'm proud of myself for that. Then I did some stretching afterwards.
 And as I was taking pictures outside, my neighbor- Ate jenny, gave me this.

A healthy breakfast for me ^___^ yehey!

     Did the grocery with Mama & Papa at SM Supermarket because my father was given a gift check for Christmas from Jewelmer. I was excited to go to the grocery because of that hahaha then we came upon Egg Noodles from Vietnam and decided to cook it for dinner.





 And here we have our EGG NOODLE SOUP with LOVE.

     The last time I weighed I was 51.6 kg... and now IMMA SAY IT LOUD & PROUD! 50.05 KG baby! hahahaha the workouts, boxing, jogging and healthy diet paid off!
 
     Ever since I was a kid I have been a big fan of pasta. I can eat them all day, everyday. But the thing is, excessive eating of pasta can cause BLOATING! So at grocery I found an alternative for the normal white pasta I eat. Presenting... El Real's Healthy Spaghetti!!! It's high in fiber, has malunggay & carrot bits, plus it has protein, beta-carotene & Vit. A. Now tell me, how healthy can a pasta be???

      I paired my healthy pasta with a Spanish Style Sardine Sauce & mushroom, both cooked in extra virgin olive oil. After eating I didn't feel bloated at all! Hooray! I do feel full but not bloated unlike what white pastas do to my stomach. From now on El Real's Healthy Spaghetti will be my go-to-pasta.

                                                                          "Ang tunay na Pilipino kumakain ng rice." 

Hahahaha We Filipinos always have rice on our tables, its our staple food. But the growing trend on the "No Rice Diet" made me a bit apprehensive on the thought that there will be no rice at all for every meal. For me, again, its about proportion, its not about whether its brown rice, red rice, blue, pink, violet of WHITE... as long as you have smaller portions for carbs. And girls, wag OA pag dating sa diet, nakamamatay yan. HAHAHAHA! kidding aside, its true. So don't cry when you had your slippage when it comes to eating rice, just eat healthier the next day. For me pwede naman kumain ng kanin basta gulay ang ulam ^__^ hehe

     There have been a lot of diets invented for over a hundred years yet here we are, struggling to loose that 10 lbs. I've come to a realization that there really is no surefire diet to where in you'll loose and maintain you're weight. Its all about the kinds of food that we put inside our body and of course, the proportion. Over thinking what you eat on a daily basis will kill you, literally. The important thing is HEALTHIER CHOICES, instead of eating ice cream, opt for a yogurt. Want soda? Ditch the dark colored sodas and go for clearer ones and soon after that you can opt for water instead. So if you really wanted to fit on those skinny jeans --- nah, burn that skinny jeans and just live healthy & stay active. You don't need to look stick thin, no matter what shape you are as long as you FEEL healthy then YOU GO GIRL! with matching *snap*
